The Age of Every One Is An Expert

We are living in an age where every person feels they are the expert and will denounce any facts giving to them as “fake news” “not accurate science or cannot be trusted,” and “false spirituality.” I was in a debate over the Behemoth in the Bible with an Atheist who said that because it says it has a navel, where an umbilical cord, it is false, and yet I showed them latest findings according to BBC reports from Paleontology is that some dinosaurs (non Avian) had navels, and so now they cannot definitively say Bronotsaurus and its relatives did not have them like the passage in Job. He told me I could not trust modern scholarship, when last week he debated me and said modern scholarship says Velociraptors and its relatives have feathers. So when he wants facts to support his argument, modern scholarship and findings are valid, but not when I used my to support the Bible. What tis tells me is Selectivism is the method, you cherry pick facts and ignore other ones that could unravel your argument.

What this Atheist I know fears is if the Bible is right about the Behemoth, the Brontosaur, then what if the rest of the Bible is true? He wants total control of his life, Atheists are selfish and want utter autonomy over their lives, that is why deep down they do not want to recognize God, because then you have to admit a High Power is in control of your life, and they do not want to acknowledge that, even through its true whither they believe or not.

It is getting where you cannot discuss anything anymore. You discuss history and science, and people pull up their cherry picked scholar and debate and say you are wrong, if you defend something in a fandom, fans come after you with again there own selective and skewed data. It is about ego and winning the argument, not seeking the truth, and becoming enlightened. You can cite major experts and scholars, and findings on something to someone, and they will have their HTTP site and quotes from a book that espouses their views, and fight all day with you. We are in effect in tribal think when it comes to information. We have unprecedented access to information with the internet, and yet people do group think, gate keeping, and behave like cults, even as individuals that you cannot reach with reason, The Holy Spirit, or anything!

I was with a very quick research able to debunk this atheist’s claims about no navels in dinosaurs, and yet they were determined to espouse their Darwinism, and world view that holds the Age of Reason antichrists as apostles. At the end of the day I have come to realize that argument is now becoming pointless, unless the person genuinely wants to learn something in the debate; and you are better off praying that God opens their eyes, then wasting your time trying to convince people. Dogmas are entrenched with people, and while we Christians have many denominations, the other sides now are breaking not into denominations but individuals each saying “they are like God,” as Lucifer said (Isaiah 14:14) and shout down anyone who has a message that does not fit their individual view. People are asking why so few people were attending churches in the West, the reason is not necessarily lack of faith in Jesus, it is that people hold to  “their truth,” you cannot convince them with experts, The Scriptures, or even a message from the Holy Trinity received in Prophecy, because they are committed to their perspective, and cannot be a community in any form, because their lens is so microscopic and colored, that they will not get along with anyone else.

In this age people only trusting their own view, the Faith cannot easily thrive because we trust the Scriptures because of the experts who knew The Lord God in Old and New Testament Periods. We hold fast to the Apostle’s Teaching, “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer., (Acts 2:42), and yet the way people are getting in this selectivism they would not honor them as experts, nor would they honor the Council of Nicea that gave us the Nicene Creed which is one of the great summaries of true Christian faith! We as Christians need to be wary of this, that we do not get torn apart by this Radical cultic individualistic thought; that will not heed reason, facts, data, and the Scriptures. If we cross over into this tribal think that has no tribe, or is a tribe of one with each person thinking only they know the truth, it’s game over. Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
