The Shaking Sands

Everything that is happening in out world and even within the Church is foretold. Our Lord says, “Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken—that is, of that which has been created—in order that what cannot be shaken may remain andcontinue.” (Hebrews 12:27). We are seeing everything that can be shaken, shook away and those eternal things that cannot be shaken, Jesus, His Gospel, and The Scriptures remain. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35).

The sands of this world as shifting. Everything of this world is in state of transience, with nothing remaining as it was. Each week a new gender emerges, a new sexuality, a new sin, which reminds me of the verse, “They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.” (Romans 1:30). In counter to this is our Lord Jesus Christ who never changes, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8). While this world is in flux, The Author of our Faith and Finisher stays the same!

The Chaos of the sand storms of social issues and how everything in the Scriptures is under siege by those seeking to create a spiritual desert, an emptiness where there is nowhere to turn. We know better as saints, that this is simply birth pangs, and that we have not seen nothing yet! We need to as we navigate the sands and sinkholes, keep our eyes on The Morning Star, Jesus Christ, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.” (Revelation 22:16). Everything around is going to shift, only Christ will not change and we must cling to Him as the world falls apart and madness replaces the norms mankind has accepted for so many thousands of years. Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times). This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek. If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! Concerns About The Jerusalem Cross

When you travel to Jerusalem, it is the custom of a pilgrim to by a Jerusalem Cross as souvenir. Its suppose to represent Jerusalem, and Christianity there. Even Protestant brothers and sisters have adopted the Jerusalem Cross symbol as a missionary symbol, the four extra crosses being to four corners of the world, “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:31). The problem is that the Jerusalem Cross has a very dark history spiritually.
