The Deeds of Darkness

The original Beetlejuice film was a demonic and grotesque purgatory of a film from the mind of Tim Burton who is known for his macabre style. Well it turns out the Beetlejuice Sequel is coming out. I have always felt Tim Burton was in the Occult, his films from The Nightmare Before Christmas to Batman and beyond are conceived from a mind that is in harmony with demented and demonic art style of H. R. Giger who was a professed occultist, knew Alister Crowley, a renowned occultist. H. R. Giger  illustrated the most dangerous spell book in existence, The Necronomicon, the Xenomorph from the Alien films itself being Necronom IV, which means the upcoming Alien Romulus features a creature steeped in occult. Not too long ago The Church of Satan sued the reboot of Sabrine The Teenage Witch for using their design if the Sigil of Satan and altar and won the lawsuit. The popularity of Lucifer, a Paradise Lostesque series that garners sympathy for the devil was a turning point in my humble view that we were going to see a lot more overtly Satanic & occultic films and shows (see my post on The Coming Satanic Age).

We are told by the apostles not to expose ourselves to darkness but to expose it, “And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11). We as Christians ate not to be involved in films like Beetlejuice, but to expose them! Involvement means watching it. Remember we are suppose to guard our hearts, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life,” (Proverbs 4:24), to meditate on what is good, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” (Philippians 4:7-8). Beetlejuice and occultic films are bot true, honorable, pure, lovely, right, or admirable! We are suppose to guard our eyes, “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” (Matthew 6:22-23). Do not fill your eyes with darkness!

The apostle tells us to put on the armor of God, not strip it with spells in movies cursed by devil worshippers!, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:10-12). There is a dark world, and it can become present in films like Beetlejuice! We must not give over our hearts and minds to darkness! We are the Light!, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” (Matthew 5:14-16). When you participate in deeds of darkness like Beetlejuice, you are putting your lamp under a bowl, a witch’s cauldron! I urge you brothers and sisters to not let curiosity draw you to a film with a Satanic priestess as a consultant and real black magic! It will bring bondage in your life, entice you into the dark world, and set you on the path to great suffering!  Do not give the devil an inch! Hold fast to Christ and expose the darkness! Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
