In the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony drag queens depicted the Last Supper of our (https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianbushard/2024/07/27/olympics-drag-queen-last-supper-sparks-outrage-from-musk-catholic-leaders-gop-pundits/, https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna163927). There is a trend of defiling the sacred, and it reminds of the apostle’s warning, “In the last days it will be difficult for people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred..” (2 Timothy 3:2, NLT). This Olympic scoffing is another sign we are in the end times. The sacrilege is only aimed at Christianity. There is no mocking of Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, New Age, and etc. Rather these religions are peddled in media, even in commercials while Christianity is ridiculed in displays like this.
We have as Christians enjoyed a long period of favor, and now we are returning to the cross, to persecution and hatred. The transition will cause a falling away (Matthew 24:9-13) because people were told to follow Jesus meant paradiso here and now with prosperity guaranteed, when Christ tells us different, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me,” (Luke 9:23, “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers,” (Matthew 24:9), and warned, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.” (John 15:18-25).
How are we to respond to these displays? Honestly, pray. Pray for the souls of these drag queens, that they may see their need for The King of Kings, and to cease the abomination of cross dressing, “The woman shall not wear that which pertains to a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all that do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 22:5). Instead of cross dressing may they pick up their crosses and follow Jesus, nailing this sinful habit to His Cross!
What of the Olympics? Should Christians boycott the Paris 2024 Games over this? That I leave to you and The Holy Spirit to decide. There are many Christians in these Olympic Games, one Olympian in an interview at The Games said she injured he leg and by the Grace of God she was able to compete and win a bronze after a bad injury. I can see merit in a boycott, that if all Christians ceased to watch it could make a dent in the viewership and send a message to the blasphemers who wrote and set up this sacrilegious drag queen depiction of the Last Supper. On the other hand, we have brothers and sisters in Christ using their talents that deserve our cheers to “finish the race!” (2 Timothy 4:6-8).
It is well known France has had a long history of spiritual darkness, from the St. Bartholomew Day Massacre and war against Protestants to Voltaire & his antichrist thoughts to the Hedonism that has a grip on land to this day. I mean even The Great Cathedral of Norte Dame burned down, so this Drag Last Supper Mockery seems like one more nail in the coffin of apathy and antipathy towards The Lord and His Ways in France.
That said this is not isolated incident. At The 2022 Commonwealth Games a great Baal like Bull (mechanical) appeared at the opening of the games, and all these worshippers with white crystals bowed before it, a tower of Babel was burning behind them with dancers, and they make The Baal Bull become full of light in adoration (https://mycharisma.com/culture/charisma-highlights-watch-now-they-are-bowing-down-and-worshipping-baal-right-in-front-of-our-eyes/), reminding us of the verse, “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14). So there is an uptick of Occultic, New Age, and Satanic rituals at games and antichrist displays like this one at The Paris Olympics. It is alarming and we need be aware that this is probably the birth pains of The Beast (Revelation 13:7). That these demonic ceremonies at games and award ceremonies like The Grammies are intended to usher in the coming Satanic Age (see my post on this https://sirjeffreypendragonblog.blogspot.com/2024/02/the-coming-satanic-age.html?m=1) and that Last Days that will lead to our Lord Jesus’ Return. This is encouraging, that the Organizers are responding to what has offended us Christians about The Opening Ceremony. Amen.
