So many people are battling chronic disease, allergies, and physical conditions ranging from severe to mild. It seems like many are living in NSAIDs, seeking relief from their affliction. Often our first recourse is to pop a pill, but a time comes when that doesn’t work well anymore, needing to increase the dosage. You can feel like your caught in a rock and hard place, you need your meds, but are we suppose to live like this? With chronic conditions where we are held together by medicine? Male no mistake, I am not anti-medicine or surgery, I believe God wants us to use science and medical breakthroughs to remedy what we can. But what if you are loke the woman who spent all her money on doctors, “including a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years. She had spent all her money on physicians, but no one was able to heal her.” (Luke 8:43). She sought the hem of Jesus’ robe, she believed Christ could restore her. I believe that is still available to us today as well, that The Gift of Healing (1 Corinthians 12:9 NLT) is still happening and that The Holy Trinity can touch us and heal us. I am not say stop your meds or ignore medical advice, but why do we not give God an option to be our healer until the doctors no longer can cure?
I think we should go to the Lord Jesus and petition for healing, reminding him that he said, “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14:14). For Jesus is the same always (Hebrews 12:2) and He lives in us (Ephesians 3:17, 1 John 4:15). I again say follow your doctors advice unless its Satanic and a curse, like if they say “well you feel better now, but in ten years you’ll be worse again.” You have to be careful, there are good physicians like the Apostle Luke, and there are Sorcerors like the old pagan doctors of ancient world who do malpractice and spells, so use discernment, if a doctor’s advice and diagnosis seems odd and bleak, get a second and third opinion. Do research and seek out specialists if you can, because I encountered a malpratice doctor who tried to kill a relative, and a Satanist doctor tried to abort a friend’s baby. So discern in the Spirit, not all physicians are good, many are good and want to help, and their prescriptions and diagnosis is sound, but you need to be wary of wolves in white coats who use their practice to harm Christians, and even make sacrifices of people through malpractice; I have had to report a doctor who tried to kill a relative.
This is why more than ever we need Jesus to be Jehovah Rapha, The Lord Who Heals. Because as more people become “lovers of selc,” and Satanic; the UK is having uptick in converts to Satanism (https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2023/january/yourself-as-satan-satanism-rises-in-uk-appealing-to-young-people-as-a-religion-of-the-self), the same is happening in US with a Satancon (comicon llike event for Satanists). Satan seeks to murder and lie, that is his nature, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44). So if a doctor is a Satanist, they may very well try to murder you because that is the nature of the one they worship or use as inspiration for their life. So trust your gut if you feel something if off, just because they have medicial degree doesn’t mean they are infallible, my doctor of old use to say “a lot of MDs had D grade averages in medical school.”
Jesus said we would heal, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18). Why isn’t this happening? Is it because our hope is too tethered to the Medical Community? Again I believe in going to ER, calling ambulances when you have symptoms for heart attack, stroke, appendicitis, and etc. But why do we act as if the Lord has no power to heal? Can we not do both? Appeal to heaven and go to the hospital? I have seen miraculous healings of people in hospital who prayed to be healed in Jesus’ name, even the doctors saying they couldn’t explain how bones grew back and reconnected without a halo device.
We need to be balanced, ask Jesus to heal and trust He can and will, and seek the conventional path of medicine to help too. Its not either or, its both. God may want to heal you in hispitsl to reach a person in the medical staff or another patient. So just because you have IVs and a prognosis, don’t stop praying for healing, our God is miracle worker! Amen.
