There is a real push to smear the Church in media. A series called “The Handmaiden’s Tale” that envisages a future ruled by a theocracy (Gilead) with women who are breeders and are raped, “Worldwide infertility has led to the enslavement of fertile women in Gilead determined by the new regime to be "fallen women", citing an extremist interpretation of the Biblical account of Bilhah; these women often include those who have entered multiple marriages (termed "adulteresses"), single or unmarried mothers, lesbians (homosexuals being termed "gender traitors"), non-Christians, adherents of Christian denominations other than the Sons of Jacob, political dissidents and academics. These women, called Handmaids, are assigned to the homes of the ruling elite, where they must submit to ritualized rape (referred to as "the ceremony") by their male masters ("Commanders") in the presence of their wives, in order to become impregnated and bear children for them. Handmaids are given names created by the addition of the prefix Of- to the first name of the man who owns them. When they are transferred, their names are changed accordingly.”(Handmaiden’s Tale Series, Wikipedia). The Handmaiden Tale makes Christianity look oppressive and controlling. Other shows and movies paint Christians as bigots as in the case of “Deadpool 2” which has a warden who calls the mutants abominations; not to mention Deadpool speaks sacrilege and blasphemy calling himself Lord God at the end of the film, and other slurs. There is a real campaign to make us Christians look evil, and to make sorcerers and even Satan, “Lucifer” Netlfix show, look good. Make no mistake this is antichrist propaganda.
At first you may say “what effect can such antichrist shows, movies, and etc have?” The answer is far reaching. Films and Shows effect culture, look at the Star Wars phenomenon. People plug into streaming services and watch more cinema and shows than ever before, and the majority of those movies and series are new age, luciferian, and antichristian. There are very few that promote Christian values. “The Ranch” starring Ashton Kutcher who with his perverted brother are Christians who raise cattle, have sex with young girls like its eating, and get drunk. Scripture tells us as Christians we are suppose to be regernerate, “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” (Romans 6:1-14), and Jesus leaves drukards and sexually immoral; those who pratice sin and act like its normal rather than repent behind, “But suppose that servant (Christians, see Matthew 23:7-10) is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master (Jesus) is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth,” (Matthew 24:48-51) and “Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. ” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). If we sin and repent there is forgiveness in Christ, “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world,” (1 John 2:1-2), but if you believe a sin is not sin like sexual immorality you are calling God a liar, “If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:6-10). Jesus saves us through faith in Him, but if you justify sin instead of repent, you are saying His blood and sacrifice for that sin was needless.
Once Hollywood made Biblical epics like “The Robe,” “Ben Hur,” and “The Ten Commandments,” now instead its sex, sorcery, and sedition. As a result chikdren who already are rear in antichrist school curriculums have their entertainment teaching them spellcraft and Satanic ideals. I recently ran into “Hexbots,” little bots you can control to fight with that have knights, Samurai and etc; but inside is a hex (spell sign) like the pentagram in circles. Now kids who want tinker toys get to learn hexing! Ugh!
To navigate the occultic age, we as Christians need to execute discernment and education. We need to reslly examine what we are being entertsihed by wnd ask woykd Christ want ys involved with it? I am not promotjng a total boycott, but we need to be resdy to confront things like Hexbots, teach children not to be involved in those things and why from Scripture. I am not saying lock up the Xbox or burn the Yoshi plushies, I am saying know what is behind the shows, movies and video games you watch; investigate words and symbols you see on screen, don’t assume its just “make believe,” most stories borrow 90% from real religions and sorceries. Do not take lightly what you see and hear, keep the lamp of your eye pure, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good,d your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad,e your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:22-23). Remember that our enemy wants us to slip from a pure and simple devotion to Christ, “But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent,” (2 Corinthians 11:3), and to seduce us into darkness.
The apostle John urges us to test spirits, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.” (1 John 4:1-3) and the apostle says we should discern spirits, “and to another discernment of spirits [the ability to distinguish sound, godly doctrine from the deceptive doctrine of man-made religions and cults], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.” (1 Corinthians 12:10 AMP). The power to discern what is being taught, if its in alignment with sound doctrine or the doctrine of demons is our responsibility. We must be vigilant, and let all that is spiritually dangerous be recognized and neutralized. Amen.
