Mixed Fire



So many brothers and sisters are playing with mixed fire. They are submitting to the Holy Spirit in some areas of their life and then to the spirit of the Evil One in other areas. Christ Jesus himself said, "You can serve only one of two masters, you will love one and hate the other." (Matt 6:24). There is no middle ground. You either give all of yourself to the Son of God or you become dominated by devils. I am appalled at how many Christians think that they can practice their faith and still erect idols and harbor amulets like dream catchers, tikis, pentangles, pentagrams, oriental dragon guardians, and etc in their homes. God is a jealous God and if you believe you can "sweep fire into your lap and not be burned," then you are in for a rude awakening. Why is Christ not enough? Hmm? Why do believers feel compelled to mix in pagan traditions and philosophies into the purity of God's Gospel? Why have the children taken their eyes off the Father and place it on these "cisterns that yield no life giving water?" (Jer 2:13-15). If we taint the truth even with a little bit of superstition, mysticsim, or unorthodox belief the truth becomes diluted and worthless. If the truth has only a tiny piece of a lie added to it, it becomes a complete lie. You cannot add oil to water and hope to seperate it. The oil takes over and blackens the clear water. So why my brothers and sisters have you chosen to pollute yourselves with false doctrines and mysticism? Why have you chosen mixed fire? Can Christ and the devil both dwell inside you and be at peace? No! Only one of them can rule your heart.

Those who want to have it both ways, who think darkness and light can co-exist are traitors and worse than those who align fully with darkness. At least with the denizens of the dark you know were they stand, but what of these lukewarm? The Lord says, "They shall be spewed out." (Revelation 3:16). Yes, if you believe you can serve the Prince of Peace and the Prince of This World, then you are lukewarm and thus doomed to a terrible fate! How can you knowing the mysteries of Christ dance with the devil? Why do you permit icons of idolatry in your homes? Oh woe unto you who thinks playing with mixed fire is harmless. For that blaze will grow hotter and you will suffer the eternal consequences. This warning is not just for you who think you are cleaver; who dancing knowingly with the Savior and Satan. This is for you who think only a inch won't hurt. Those of you who think you can have some brownies with your wedding cake. Those brownies are laced with spiritual arsenic and your soul and body will perish!

It's time to choose. Do you serve Jesus Christ or do you serve the Powers and Philosophies of this world? Are you willing to lay it all down to "pick up your cross" and follow Christ? or are you just waiting to use your get out of hell free card at the end of a day of debauchery? It's time for the saints to get right with their Savior and stop playing around with Satan! Take seriously your status as a Child of God and cease opening doors to the many devils! Make Christ your focus and aim. This World is going to pass away, and the power, pomp, and pleasure it can afford you will fade; but Jesus' promise of eternal life will never pass away. Why live for your own greed and glory? Make the Gospel your goal! Take up the oath of the Apostles and start spreading the Good News again! Show sinners the only thing worth living & dieing for! Rise up and become God's Ambassadors! Use your gifts to gain souls. Let your talents and unique abilities be used in the service of the One who gave them to you! Aim for a higher ambition! Let the Fire of the Holy Ghost burn inside you so that you may change lives in the cause of Christ!

It's time to get radical. It's time to stop messing around with mixed fire and get serious about salvation. It's time to start living for Jesus Christ.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants.
