Queen of Heaven

The Queen of Heaven Cult was one that existed in antiquity. In most kingdoms, there was a mother goddess such as Tammuz, Artemis, Ashteroth, Isis, and etc. She was as the pagans believed a bringing of fertility and life. In some cases she was also a baal, a war goddess, as in the case of Ashteroth and Isis. The Prophet Jeremiah records confronting the Queen of Heaven Cult: “did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of foodand were well off and suffered no harm. 18 But ever since we stopped burning incense to the Queen of Heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have had nothing and have been perishing by sword and famine.”
19 The women added, “When we burned incense to the Queen of Heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did not our husbands know that we were making cakes impressed with her image and pouring out drink offerings to her?”
20 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, both men and women, who were answering him, 21 “Did not the Lord remember and call to mind the incense burned in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem by you and your ancestors, your kings and your officials and the people of the land? 22 When the Lord could no longer endure your wicked actions and the detestable things you did, your land became a curse and a desolate waste without inhabitants, as it is today.23 Because you have burned incense and have sinned against the Lord and have not obeyed him or followed his law or his decrees or his stipulations, this disaster has come upon you, as you now see.” (Jeremiah 44:16-23)

The Cult of the Queen of Heaven was confronted by the Prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah was a prophet who knew of the New Covenant in Christ, “The day is coming,” says the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife,” says the LORD. “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the LORD. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the LORD.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the LORD. “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”” (Jeremiah 34;31-34)
The women of Judah worshipped the Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah 44:16-23). Bit the cult of the Queen of Heaven did not die in antiquity, it survived, and has been revived by the Roman Church:

“[996] Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things  ,” (Cetchism of the Roman Catholic Church,  PART ONE
THE PROFESSION OF FAITH SECTION TWO
THE PROFESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH CHAPTER THREE I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT ARTICLE 9
"I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH" Paragraph 6. Mary - Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church).                                The Roman Catholic Church (RCC) claims Mary as Queen of Heaven, “Queen of Heaven (Regina Caeli in Latin) is a title given to Mary, mother of Jesus, by Christians mainly of the Catholic Church and, to a lesser extent, in Anglicanism, Lutheranism,[5][6] and Eastern Orthodoxy. The title is a consequence of the First Council of Ephesus in the fifth century, in which Mary was proclaimed "Theotokos", a title rendered in Latin as Mater Dei, in English "Mother of God, The Catholic teaching on this subject is expressed in the papal encyclical Ad Caeli Reginam, issued by Pope Pius XII.[7] It states that Mary is called Queen of Heaven because her son, Jesus Christ, is the king of Israel and heavenly king of the universe; indeed, the Davidic tradition of Israel recognized the mother of the king as the Queen Mother of Israel.” (Queen of Heaven, Wikipedia).

Look at what the RCC says of Mary, “[969]Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix." (Catchism of the Roman Catholic Church, PART ONE, THE PROFESSION OF FAITH SECTION TWO
THE PROFESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH CHAPTER THREE I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT ARTICLE 9
"I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH" Paragraph 6. Mary - Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church).
Scripture says the Advocate and Helper is the Holy Spirit, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.” (John 14:16-17), and “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” (John 14:26).
As for Mary’s Mediatrix title, there is only One Mediator!, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the Son of Man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

There is no Queen of Heaven! The real Mary of the Bible was a humble handmaiden who declared she needed a Savior, “And Mary saidMy soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his handmaiden (servant).” (Luke 1:46-48). The next verse Catholics use to support veneration is just a matter of fact statement, “From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.” (Luke 1:48-49). She is merely saying I am counted as blessed that God is doing a great thing for me, that she gets to give birth to the Christ. She is not making a directive “call me blessed,” but a making a statement that she will be called blessed by all generations because God chose her to be the woman that would carry and give birth to God Incarnate, Jesus Christ.

We Christians reject the worship of other gods or goddesses (including the Queen of Heaven), we worship the Lord God Almighty alone!, “Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” (Matthew 4:10). The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the LORD God Almighty. Jesus is the Lord, “and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:11, cross ref Romans 10:9, Revelation 19:16). Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
