Jesus the Way In An Era of Many ways

There are a plethora of ways these days. The landscape is filled with many gods and passions to fit every pleasure. In this Neo-Mecca, people are merging traditional religious beliefs with foreign beliefs. In a decade Chrislam, Christian Hinduism (yoga), New Age Christianity, Univeralism, and more have began to blend the One Way with many. People now have a buffet of beliefs, mixing magic with church and Buddhist philosophy into a snack of polytheist sandwich. My brother actually posed that this non-commital blend of all beliefs could be the Antichrist’s means to ban all religions, “Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness[b] is revealed—the one who brings destruction.[c] He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God..” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).  If people are mixing and matching religions then they are committed not to one and so in a sense, they arnt practice one religion at all and so are them all religions stunted?

As for us the Elect, the Saints around the whole world we disregard this pantheism and cry out that Jesus is the one and only way to heaven, “I am the way, the Truth, ans the Life, Nike May come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6). There is only One God though Three, the Holy Trinity and the door is Jesus! Jesus Christ is our God and Savior: only faith in Him saves, “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son and who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life ” (John 3:16), but lack of faith is condemnation, “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son.” (John 3:18). Unpopular already ain’t I? That sounds so judgmental! It’s the Truth and the truth hurts. If there is only one cure for cancer why would anyone use other methods? The same goes for gods and salvation, Christ is the cure and true God! He alone can save our souls and give us eternal life. The way is not broad but narrow, “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell[a] is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14). Jesus is the narrow way, and it leads to life everlasting and love eternal! His heart beat from the cross and when it stopped meant our forgiveness and His blood our covering for all sin amen!

All the gods offer power, pleasure, and position. But only One suspended His powers for us (Phillipians 2:7), only One poured out Himself in a passion, and only One lowered himself in position from God in heavens to God in human flesh (Philippians 2:1-11) who suffered for us, His name is Jesus. Only One God, the True God Jesus lowered his keeled to His creation’s weak state and died for their weakness with relentless love. All the other gods fornicate (Genesis 6:4-6) and seek power, but the true God forgives all your mistakes and let go of His powers to become meek and weak to die for your souls and save you and rose fro Medea’s so that you might be raised one day too! Jesus is a God to love, one who first loved us when we were enemies of him (Romans 5:4-11). Christ is the Way. He knows your pain, your anxiety and rage; He felt it all though did not sin (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus offers healing for your wounds and comfort in persecution and tribulations. Our Savior is friend, who wants us, to have relationship with us and calls us His children (Galatians 3:26) and bride (Revelation 19:7-11). His love is fierce, stronger than the emotions and oceans of the world; higher than any High a drug can give and more constant than new life and death and the rotations of the planet. Christ holds His hand out and beckons, “Come to me all who are weary.., I am the Way, I am love, and I am same forever.” (Matthew 11:26, John 14:6, 1 John 4:8, Hebrews 13:8). Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
