The Counterfeit Gospel

There is neo-gospel rising. It is popular and it is beginning to sway many. This new gospel says that people of other faiths can be saved if they just use Jesus' name as they pray to their gods. This is an intriguing claim since it doesn't require conversion or committing to follow Christ. This new gospel is a counterfeit. It easily ensnares people because the idea of all your unbelieving friends getting to go with you to heaven who don't believe in Jesus is a happy thought. We would like to believe that all shall be redeemed, and that there is no judgment. However, this dream when compared with the reality in the Bible is nothing more than a dream. Jesus himself said to Pilate, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one gets to Father except through me." Where is the father? In heaven.

We also read about the "White Seat of Judgment" in Revelation and how the Lord shall "separate the sheep and the goats." That he will "spew the lukewarm from his mouth." That there will be those that say, "We casted out demons in your name, healed the lame by your name," and Jesus will say unto them "Away with you! I knew you not!" This new gospel is heresy. It is another attempt to rally people of different faiths and reconcile what sets us apart. But you can't drown truth. We know that gravity is real. That if you put on a Superman cape and try to fly you will fall. The same is with the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They are the gravity of our faith. You can try to leap beyond them and make everyone who does not believe in them fit into your idea of paradise, but inevitably it like the fool who thinks he can fly will fall.

I don't quite understand what is so hard to accept about the Gospel. God came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to die for all mankind's sins and restore man in right standing with the Father. The Father so loved us, he didn't leave us with mere laws, but sent his Son Jesus to take the judgment we deserve. Christ painstakingly suffered so that you don't have to be accountable for all the evil you've done in your life. He gives you a get out of hell free card and a phone number in which you can daily get a hold of Him. What is the problem with this message? Is Christ the only way? Yes. He is truth and because He is truth, all other doctrines contrary to Him are the absence of truth. Do we get mad at the law of gravity? Do we create gravitologies that say that gravity is wrong and you really can fly if you just think hard enough? No. We accept that gravity is true. All Jesus is asking us to do is the same about Him. To accept he is the true messiah. To accept that he is God incarnate and the savior of the world.

I illustrated it like this to a man who thought it dogmatic to say Christ is the only way. I said, "Lets say Christ is hosting a party, a birthday party and he's inviting people to come to His birthday party. Does he invite people who hate him or want nothing to do with him? No. He invites his friends and family. Then put yourself in Christ's shoes. Would you want people dwelling with you forever that love you or hate you? Would you permit people to live in your home that care about you or that loath and feel indifferent toward you?"

How do we pass judgment on God? He showed us the path to salvation. He paved it with His blood and the Cross. What more must he do? Must he do it all over again in this century? Will skeptics only accept Christ is the "only Way" if he appears in the sky? Unfortunately when Christ does return in the sky it will be too late for those who doubt.  We call it unfair that a just God would sentence souls to eternal damnation. Yet we condone the incarceration of criminals and agree that wicked people should be punished for their deeds. Christ gives us a choice: be pardoned and acquitted of all the charges against us and go free to be with Him or live in perpetual separation and confinement in hell (the everlasting jail cell). We don't get a choice on this earth if we do something truly vile. If you murder and are caught, you go to jail and are reprimanded accordingly. God is merciful! The fact he gives us a choice is the miracle! You can't go before a judge of this world and choose to go free or go to jail. But our judge, the King of Universe, gives you the opportunity to repent and follow him and thus have your debt paid in full!

Why would anyone want to replace this Gospel? Isn't that the epitome of mercy? How can you call God unjust when he gives you the option to go to heaven or hell; to be in union with Him or the devil?

I bid those who hear this new gospel of "everyone goes to heaven," discard it and turn back to the Gospel as it is recorded in the Holy Bible! Don't be deceived by these false prophets and false christs. Trust the words of the Apostles, who endeavored with all their souls to make sure we had the true and exact Gospel as dictated by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
