Monarchy Coming: Aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II’s Passing

  Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning Monarch of The United Kingdom has reposed and gone to join her husband Prince Philip in Heaven. Elizabeth was both Fidei Defensor (Defender of the Faith) and Supreme Head of the Anglican (Episcopal) Church. Her faith was a focal point of her life and duties as ruler. It has been intriguing to watch both the outpouring of love towards her late Majesty and the ire towards the monarchy after her death. Some are calling for a full transition to a Republic, others are proud to sing “God Save The King!” In response to the newly instated King Charles III.  Monarchy falls in a unique place in the forms of governance. We tend to hear the praise of democracy, the rule of many, how institutions are becoming oligarchy, the rule of few over many, the dangers of Dictatorship (rule of one) and Fascism.
