St. Patties Day is coming and already retail corporations are commercializing it. It is quite appalling how every holiday in Christendom has been secularized. Christmas is about Santa the Genie, Easter about a Bunny, Valentine's Day about chocolates and sex, and St. Patrick's Day getting drunk with ale. I wonder if anyone who celebrates St. Patties Day even remembers that St. Patrick purged Ireland of the serpents (demons) and unified the country in Christianity. Just like Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day it is about selling a product. We as Christians have let humanistic people take our holidays and taint them with depravity and debauchery. Christmas is suppose to be a celebration of Christ being born, his birthday. Instead it's about getting presents and worshiping Santa, which ironically unscrambled spells Satan.
